About Us

Crowborough Accident Repair Services is privately owned by us, Paul Staples and Daren Gardiner.  Between us we have over 55 years experience in the motor industry, both in main dealer and independent garages.  Our company philosophy is one of team work. The whole CARS team are committed to providing excellent customer service.

CARS first opened for business in 2002.   We were originally located in Queens Road, Crowborough, hence the company name.  After 5 happy years in Crowborough we decided to search for larger premises and in December 2007 we moved to our current home in Heathfield.  The site is 10,000 square feet and has newly decorated facilities for both customers and staff. We offer a comfortable customer reception/waiting area and hot and cold drinks are available.  We have two gated secure parking areas, each of which are covered by CCTV, where customer vehicles are stored.

We are primarily an accident repair centre and have the capacity to repair approximately 30 vehicles a week, using the latest in modern vehicle repair technology and equipment.  We are insurance approved and have worked hard to achieve the BS10125 Accreditation. All our technicians are trained to the highest levels.

We also offer Wheel Refurbishment, Wheel Alignment, Replacement Tyres, Air Conditioning Re-Gassing and Cosmetic Repairs. Please ask for prices for additional services.

CARS offer all of their customers, both insurance and private, a collection and delivery service, covering the following postcodes:-

RH16 to RH19, BN1 to BN3, BN6 to BN9, BN10, BN20 to BN27, BN41 to BN44, BN50 to BN51, TN1 to TN7, TN17 to TN22, TN28 to TN29 and TN31 to TN40

Many of our customers are entitled to have the use of one of our fleet of 25 courtesy vehicles. Please ask us about your entitlement.

Should you have any questions about our services, we would be happy to hear from you.

Paul Staples and Daren Gardiner,
Company Directors

FAQs

What happens if its not my fault?

If it’s a non-fault accident you may also be entitled to a replacement ‘like for like’ vehicle. If not, we can supply a free courtesy car for the duration of the repair if your policy allows.

What happens if my car is written off?

Usually your insurer will guide you through a settlement process, but please ask our help desk if you need further information.

How long will it take to repair my car?

Anything between a few days and couple of weeks, depending on the extent of the damage.
